Find Your Way Home
Have you sometimes felt a disconnect between the photos and films you create in your personal work, and the ones you create for your clients? In this workshop, Sarah will encourage you to look for that spark that ignites your love for visual storytelling. For the images that you can feel yourself in, the ones that awaken all the senses. This workshop will help you get to the core of who you are and how you express yourself as a creative. Through exercises, conversation and project ideas, Sarah will encourage you to find your way home, back to you.
Bio
Sarah Mason is a filmmaker, photographer and mentor based in the West Yorkshire town, Hebden Bridge. She lives with her wife Suzi, and their 2 year old daughter. Sarah and Suzi have been partners in life for over 15 years, and in the business for 10. Sarah’s love for family photography was inspired by her Grandad, who documented her Mum and siblings as they were growing up. Her family still huddle around the old Quality Street tin where the photos are kept, it has become one of their traditions. Her passion lies in capturing family life, in all its beautiful combinations, and this led to working with brands and creative businesses. Clients have included Tesco Ireland, Canopy & Stars, Go Ape! The Unthanks, and The National Trust.
The business is constantly evolving, changing and growing, fuelled by creativity and a desire to share something of themselves with the world. Their 1-1 mentoring programmes have been proving popular this year, and they are currently working on their online filmmaking course which will be open for registration in November.
